Has God given you the desire to be of service?  The Salem UMC Board of Trustees chairman Brian McCain has put together a list of small jobs that need to be done to enhance and improve the physical appearance and functionality of our church building and grounds.  Contact Brian or one of the Trustees if you desire to attend to one of these needs:
  1. Change 24 furnace filters
  2. Clean roof drains monthly
  3. Replace missing roof shingles
  4. Fix gutter that is falling off
  5. Water new plants in the parking lot
  6. Caulk the cracks in the parking lot
  7. Seal the blacktop parking lot
  8. Fix cracks in front entrance walkway
  9. Clean mold from a preschool classroom wall
  10. Build platform for music switchboard
  11. Get curb fixed around front island
  12. Find out how the water drains away from the front wall below the office windows, and clean out
  13. Put an opening in the ceiling in the hall downstairs, and patch old water leak areas
  14. Fix the cracks on the floor in the hall downstairs
  15. Fix a 4-inch hole in the floor in one of the classrooms downstairs
  16. Clean out the grease traps in the kitchen
  17. Remove all the wood shelves and paper products from the boiler room
  18. Clean out the closet below the front stairs
  19. Paint and remodel the ladies restroom
  20. Clean out the A/C room downstairs
  21. Fix the door on the freezer
  22. Find the water leak downstairs by the mens restroom
  23. Move all the janitors supplies to the old preschool office
  24. Find the property lines at the Parsonage
  25. Put a light on the front walkway
  26. Clean up the pile of firewood
  27. Clean the A/C units outside
  28. Trim the bushes
  29. Fix the exterior door on the westside
  30. Fix the ceiling in the center room
